Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the registry, your account, and what we're building.
About TheSlabbed
What is TheSlabbed?
TheSlabbed is a public registry and collection management tool for graded sports cards, slabbed memorabilia, and autographs. Every collector gets a public profile, every slab gets a permanent record, and the registry covers all major grading companies in one place.
Who is TheSlabbed built for?
Collectors, not flippers. If you grade your cards, autographs, or memorabilia because the slab itself matters to you (preserving the item, tracking the population, sharing your collection with other collectors), TheSlabbed is built for you. If your goal is maximizing eBay margins on quick flips, there are other tools better suited to that.
What grading companies does TheSlabbed support?
Does TheSlabbed support slabbed memorabilia and autographed items, or only cards?
Both. If it's slabbed, it belongs in the registry. That includes graded autographs (cards or cut autos), photos, jerseys, equipment, tickets, and other memorabilia that has been encapsulated and authenticated by a grading or authentication service.
Is TheSlabbed affiliated with PSA, SGC, BGS, or any grading company?
No. TheSlabbed is independent. We're not owned by, partnered with, or endorsed by any TPG. That independence is intentional. It's why we can support every grading company equally.
How is TheSlabbed different from the PSA Set Registry or SGC's collection tools?
PSA's registry only tracks PSA-graded items. SGC's tools only track SGC. If your collection has a mix of graders, and most real collections do, you can't see everything in one place. TheSlabbed is the cross-grader registry that doesn't exist anywhere else.
We also focus on the collector, not the grading service. Your profile, your collection, your way to share it with the people you trade and talk hobby with.
Account and Free Tier
Do I need an account to browse the registry?
No. The full registry is publicly browsable without an account. You only need to sign up if you want to register your own slabs or follow other collectors.
What can I do with a free account?
A free account gives you a public collector profile, full registry access, and up to 20 slabs in your collection. That's enough to register a focused PC, see how the platform works, and decide if you want more.
What happens if I hit the 20-slab limit on Free?
You can still browse, search, and view your existing collection. You just can't add new slabs until you either remove some or upgrade to Pro. We don't delete anything you've already added.
Pro and Founder Lifetime
What does Pro include?
Unlimited slabs, collection analytics, custom profile theming, a Verified Collector badge, and priority support. Pro is for collectors who've outgrown the free tier or want the deeper tools.
Pro Monthly or Pro Annual, which is better?
Pro Annual is $39 per year, which works out to about $3.25 per month. That's roughly 35% cheaper than Pro Monthly's $4.99. Pick Annual if you're confident you'll stick around. Pick Monthly if you want flexibility.
Can I cancel Pro anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your /account page. You'll keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period, then drop back to Free with all your slabs intact. We don't delete anything.
Do you offer refunds?
We offer a 14-day refund window on annual subscriptions if you change your mind. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled anytime to stop the next billing cycle, but past months aren't refunded. Founder Lifetime is non-refundable after 14 days.
What is Founder Lifetime?
A one-time $99 payment for lifetime Pro access, capped at the first 100 buyers. Each Founder gets a serialized FOUNDER #001 through #100 badge on their profile that's permanent and can't be obtained any other way once the 100 spots are claimed.
How is Founder Lifetime different from Pro Annual?
Pro Annual is $39 per year and renews every year. Founder Lifetime is $99 once, never billed again. Founder Lifetime breaks even against Pro Annual after about 2.5 years, plus you get the exclusive serialized badge.
What happens after all 100 Founder spots are claimed?
Founder Lifetime closes permanently. No more lifetime tier will be sold. Existing Founders keep their badges and lifetime Pro access. New collectors join via Pro Monthly or Pro Annual.
Is the Founder badge transferable?
No. The badge is tied to the original purchaser's account. It can't be sold, transferred, or moved to another account.
Adding and Managing Slabs
How do I add a slab to my collection?
Sign in, click Submit, fill in the slab details (player or subject, year, set, grade, grading company, cert number), and upload a photo. Your slab goes live on your collection profile and in the public registry within seconds.
Can I add slabbed autographs and memorabilia, not just cards?
Yes. The submit flow supports cards, autographs, and other graded memorabilia. Pick the appropriate type when you submit and fill in the relevant fields.
Can I edit a slab after I add it?
Yes. Open the slab from your collection, click Edit, and update any field. Changes are immediate.
Can I delete a slab?
Yes, from the slab edit page. Once deleted, the slab is removed from your collection and from the public registry.
Can I make my collection private?
You can toggle your overall profile visibility from /account. When set to private, your collection won't appear in public search results or be browsable by other users. The slabs still count toward your registered total.
How do I share my collector profile?
Every collector has a public URL at theslabbed.com/collector/[your-username]. Share that link anywhere: Twitter, Instagram, Discord, group chats, email signatures.
Data, Privacy, and Account
Who can see my collection?
By default, your collection is public, meaning anyone visiting your collector profile can see it. You can toggle to private in /account settings, in which case only you can see your full collection.
Will my data ever be sold to third parties?
No, never. TheSlabbed will never sell user data to third parties. This is a permanent commitment, not a current preference. The only third parties that touch your data are the service providers we use to run the platform (Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting, Clerk for authentication), and they only see what's necessary to provide their service.
How do I delete my account?
Email us at support@theslabbed.comfrom the email address tied to your account. We'll process the deletion within 7 days, removing your profile, slabs, and personal data from our system. Anonymized aggregate registry data (like total population counts) is retained because it's no longer tied to you.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Email support@theslabbed.comand we'll send you a JSON or CSV export of your full collection within 7 days. We're considering a self-serve export tool for the future.
Trust and Roadmap
Is TheSlabbed a real, sustainable business?
Yes. TheSlabbed is operated by The Creative Agenda LLC. The platform is funded by Pro subscriptions and Founder Lifetime sales. The pricing is set so the platform pays for itself at modest scale.
Who built TheSlabbed?
TheSlabbed was built by a 10+ year collector based in San Antonio, Texas. The platform exists because the existing tools didn't fit how actual collectors think about their collections.
What's coming next?
The current registry is v1. Things on the near-term roadmap: aliases and nicknames for player search (so "wemby" finds Wembanyama), better collection analytics, set registry features, trade and want-list tools, and a mobile-friendly submit flow. We ship updates frequently. If you're a Founder, you'll get early access to new features as they roll out.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Email support@theslabbed.com. We read every message. Founders have a direct line, with prioritized response.
